Made by a traditional tile maker in Aichi, with over a hundred years of history, this is a callback to the oni faces placed on roofs around Japan as a good omen, a tradition that dates back over a thousand years.
This version, made from the same clay and glaze, works wonderfully as a small sculptural objet or paperweight, being roughly the size of a tennis ball.

Orders are typically dispatched within 24–72 hours upon receipt of payment. We'll let you know if any unexpected delays occur, but of course we strive to avoid that happening as much as humanly possible.
We ship internationally with Japan Post (Standard Airmail at 7-21 days, or EMS Express at 3-7 days for most countries). Japan domestic delivery is usually 1-2 days.
We operate a no-questions asked 14 day refund policy, but do ask that the buyer handles returning the item to us to kick start the process.
Our products are all shipped from Japan and may be subject to import duties, which are the responsibility of the buyer.
