Visit any half-decent bar in Japan and if you order your whisky on the rocks you'll get a hand-chipped ball of ice. The reasoning behind it? The shape and size of the ice makes it melt slower, so as not to dilute your drink too fast.
Aside from chipping them yourself, this home ice ball maker is the next best thing.
Made in Japan, it's produced by a Nara-based company that's been going since 1932. The soft lid is designed to release ice easily with a simple twist and push. You can also use it to make coffee balls that when placed in milk will make for a refreshing slow-release latte.

Orders are typically dispatched within 24–72 hours upon receipt of payment. We'll let you know if any unexpected delays occur, but of course we strive to avoid that happening as much as humanly possible.
We ship internationally with Japan Post (Standard Airmail at 7-21 days, or EMS Express at 3-7 days for most countries). Japan domestic delivery is usually 1-2 days.
We operate a no-questions asked 14 day refund policy, but do ask that the buyer handles returning the item to us to kick start the process.
