Over eighty percent of Daruma are producted in Takasaki, Gunma, where the tradition was born.
This symbol of fortune and longevity is an iconic and enduring symbol of Japan and serves as an eye-catching and versatile ornament and good luck charm.
Darumas come in many sizes and colours - we carry the 17cm and 30cm variants in classic red.
Note that there may be some variation on the Japanese script.
Owners are invited to paint the pupils on their daruma and make a wish.

Orders are typically dispatched within 24–72 hours upon receipt of payment. We'll let you know if any unexpected delays occur, but of course we strive to avoid that happening as much as humanly possible.
We ship internationally with Japan Post (Standard Airmail at 7-21 days, or EMS Express at 3-7 days for most countries). Japan domestic delivery is usually 1-2 days.
We operate a no-questions asked 14 day refund policy, but do ask that the buyer handles returning the item to us to kick start the process.
Our products are all shipped from Japan and may be subject to import duties, which are the responsibility of the buyer.
